Stay about 3-4 days, eat at the hawker centres (singaporeans love food, so this is something you should experience) go to the prime shopping areas (Orchard Road, Vivo City), our beaches (East Coast Park and Sentosa), visit the Merlion and Empress Place where the statue of Sir Stamford Raffles is, visit Chinatown (the Chinese New Year decorations should still be there), visit Little India (24 hour shopping at Mustafa Centre where you can buy almost anything)You can move about using the public transport. It is very efficient. You can choose to buy a tourist pass for $8 a day for unlimited rides.Enjoy your trip!

Ishin They are marvelous, what a great shot. Do you know that this is one of the few times I've been able to imeaidetmly know the context of perspective shot? I saw the title of your post over at Hilary's blog (congratulations on the post of the week mention, by the way) and thought, "Oh dear, that is likely something heartbreaking. I don't suppose there's any chance that it's actually a picture of a cobbler's office..." Hisao When you do a blog on Cakes Gone Bad, I will send my entry in on that one! The cake was inedible. I had 3 frdeins who all wanted to help with the wedding. All 3 are superb cooks. Putting 3 fabulous cooks together in one kitchen served to prove the old adage that too many cooks spoil the pot. They were laughing and carrying on, but wouldn't let me enter the kitchen when I wanted to investigate the reason for hearing the garbage disposal running constantly. How could we know the end result until after the cake was cut? They forgot the most major ingredient, a raspberry soaking syrup. I can't even describe what the cake tasted like, but if there had been a room full of cats at our wedding, they would have all been busy scratching, trying to cover over the cake. Fortunately, another friend, who is a published cook (featured in major cooking mags) had brought several cakes and I had also made some different cakes. NO ONE would touch that cake.
